No Refunds — All Sales Final

Hollow Oak Tattoo Co. has a strict NO REFUND policy. Every payment made to the studio is final and non-refundable, with no exceptions.

• ✦Booking & Drawing Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• ✦Tattoo session payments — including any amount prepaid online or in-studio — are non-refundable, even if you choose not to come in for your appointment.
• ✦Prepaid tattoo balances are not refunded for no-shows, cancellations, change of mind, or any other reason. If you have prepaid and decide not to receive your tattoo on the scheduled day, that payment is forfeited.
• ✦Gift cards, memberships, flash purchases, merchandise, and digital products are non-refundable.
• ✦If you have prepaid for an appointment and miss it, you may still come in to receive the service you paid for — as long as you remain respectful, follow studio policies, and reschedule reasonably. The payment is not refunded in cash or credit beyond the original service.

By booking, prepaying, or purchasing anything from the studio, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

Booking & Drawing Fee

A non-refundable Booking & Drawing Fee is required before any artwork is started or any appointment is reserved. No design work begins until the fee has been received.

• ✦The fee reserves your appointment date and compensates the artist for consultation time, research, planning, communication, revisions, and the creation of custom artwork.
• ✦Because every design is created specifically for one client, the Booking & Drawing Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• ✦If a client chooses not to move forward after artwork has been created, the artist has already completed the commissioned work and has been compensated for that time through the fee.
• ✦The Booking & Drawing Fee is separate from the cost of the tattoo itself and is not applied as a discount or credit toward future work.

This policy exists so that custom design time is treated like the professional work it is — and so that every client receives the same focused, unrushed planning their tattoo deserves.

Scheduling

Hollow Oak Tattoo Co. is a private, single-artist studio. Appointments are reserved exclusively for one client at a time, and longer sessions often block an entire workday.

• ✦Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in, review the stencil, and complete any final paperwork.
• ✦Repeated lateness may require rescheduling, as it compresses the time available to complete the work properly.
• ✦Session length is estimated honestly during consultation; complex pieces may require multiple sittings.

Rescheduling

Life happens. Rescheduling is handled fairly and respectfully when communicated early.

• ✦Please provide as much notice as possible so the time can be offered to another client.
• ✦Genuine emergencies and illness will always be handled reasonably.
• ✦Frequent rescheduling may require a new Booking & Drawing Fee, as repeated changes consume additional planning time.
• ✦Contact the studio immediately if illness, injury, or an emergency arises before your appointment.

Cancellations

Because appointment time and custom artwork have already been reserved for you, Booking & Drawing Fees are never refunded.

• ✦Last-minute cancellations often leave appointment times that cannot be filled.
• ✦Mutual respect for time — both the client's and the artist's — is expected and reciprocated.

No-Shows

Missing an appointment without communication is treated as a cancellation.

• ✦Future bookings may require payment in full before scheduling.
• ✦Repeated no-shows will result in refusal of future appointments.

Artwork Ownership

Every custom tattoo is original artwork created specifically for each client.

• ✦Designs remain the intellectual property of Hollow Oak Tattoo Co. until they are tattooed on the client they were created for.
• ✦Custom artwork may not be tattooed elsewhere, copied, reproduced, sold, or shared with another artist without written permission.
• ✦Flash purchased as exclusive will never be sold, repeated, or tattooed on another client.

Design Changes

Some refinement is part of the process. Minor adjustments to size, placement, line weight, or small details are expected and welcomed.

• ✦Major concept changes after artwork has begun may require an additional drawing fee, as the design effectively starts over.
• ✦Bringing clear references and communicating expectations early — before drawing begins — produces the strongest result.

Age Requirements

All clients must be at least 18 years old. Valid government-issued photo identification is required at every appointment. No exceptions are made, regardless of parental consent.

Medical Conditions

Your safety is the priority. Please disclose any relevant medical information during consultation and on the consent form.

• ✦Allergies, current medications, blood disorders, diabetes, pregnancy or breastfeeding, skin conditions, and recent surgeries must be disclosed.
• ✦Certain conditions may require written clearance from your physician before tattooing can proceed.
• ✦Service may be respectfully declined if a condition presents a safety risk.

Hands, Neck & Face Tattoos

These placements are considered carefully and are not approved on request alone.

• ✦Existing tattoo coverage, lifestyle, career considerations, and overall tattoo history are evaluated during consultation.
• ✦Not every request will be approved. This policy protects clients from decisions that may be difficult to live with long term.

Walk-Ins

Hollow Oak Tattoo Co. operates primarily by appointment. Walk-ins are generally unavailable. Both flash and custom work are booked in advance to ensure every client receives focused, unrushed attention.

Guests

The studio is a calm, focused environment. Guest policies exist to keep it that way.

• ✦One respectful adult guest may accompany you if space allows.
• ✦Children should not attend appointments unless previously arranged in advance.
• ✦Guests are asked not to interfere with the tattoo process, offer running commentary on the artwork, or distract from the session.

Photography

Finished tattoos may be photographed for portfolio, website, and social media use.

• ✦Clients may opt out of public sharing at any time — simply let the artist know before or after the session.
• ✦Personal information is never published alongside photographs.

Artist's Right to Refuse Service

Hollow Oak Tattoo Co. reserves the right to refuse or end any service, at any time, for reasons including:

• ✦Intoxication or impairment of any kind.
• ✦Aggressive, threatening, or abusive behavior toward the artist or other clients.
• ✦Poor hygiene that presents a health or safety concern.
• ✦Undisclosed medical conditions that create unsafe tattooing conditions.
• ✦Inability to give clear, informed consent.
• ✦Requests that fall outside the artist's ethical or artistic standards.

This policy protects the client, the artist, and the integrity of the work produced in the studio.

Respect & Communication

These policies exist for one reason: to ensure every client receives the highest quality tattoo experience possible. Mutual respect, honesty, professionalism, and open communication are expected in both directions — and they are what make long, meaningful client relationships possible.
